EdgeEX Administrator Set up
EdgeEX set up is necessary to be able to start using EdgeEX courses with your district and school(s).
Set up tasks are the responsibility of a district and/or school administrator, or other permissioned user.
The goals of this learning site are to:
- Help you learn about key EdgeEX features and functions
- Guide you to complete essential set up tasks
During this asynchronous training you will:
- Access resources to learn about EdgeEX
- Follow directions to complete necessary set-up tasks

EdgeEX Access
TASK: Click the computer below to navigate to the Imagine Edgenuity login page. Enter your educator credentials and click Log in.

EdgeEX Permissions
Administrators are required to take actions to make EdgeEX accessible for the district and school(s)

LEARN: By default, district administrator ​level accounts have the permissions needed ​to complete set up tasks.
*School administrators or other educators can ​be given necessary permissions as needed.

TASK: Confirm that you have the correct EdgeEX permissions before continuing
Success Tip: If you have a program leader who will ​manage EdgeEX, ensure they have the necessary ​permissions. For example, if they need to make ​sections that is a default administrator permission but ​it can be given to a teacher as needed.
